Stanislav Tolkachev
Over the last two decades, Tolkachev has amassed quite a following. Even Aphex Twin couldn’t resist including him in his rare sets. Recognised for his masterful handling of the techno language, he has appeared at various European festivals and renowned venues such as Trésor and Razzmatazz. Seen as a pioneer of a genre in his native Ukraine, more than ever the premise of resistance hovers here – whether it actually exists or is merely suggested in the light of events. Freeing himself from a minimalist structure, the DJ and producer glimpses parallel realities between almost miraculous moments of restraint and ascension. It’s well known that techno brings luxurious textural fabrics, making them guides for inducing hypnosis; in Stanislav Tolkachev’s case, this notion is closer to outer space than urban ritualism. He moves through beatless terrain, but dominated by a pulsating rhythm of modular and analogue synthesisers; and with similar familiarity he shares generous doses of dopamine – towards that earthly take-off. This magician’s genuinely transgressive profile puts him at the forefront of his contemporaries and opens up possible channels for the expression of a new psychedelicism.
Linear System
Great techno artist known for his hypnotic and immersive signature sound, blending deep, layered textures with powerful basslines. Emerging from Spain in 2020, Linear System quickly gained recognition for his distinct approach to techno, crafting intricate, evolving soundscapes that captivate listeners. His music is characterised by a dark yet dynamic energy, reflecting his dedication to pushing the boundaries of the genre. With performances across the globe, he has brought his vision to renowned clubs and festivals, connecting with audiences through his deep, driving rhythms and atmospheric intensity. In 2023, he started his own label, Modern Minimal, releasing music exclusively for free.
Duniz
DJ and producer from Bielefeld, Germany. Duniz carves out a distinctive space in the techno landscape with his potent productions and captivating DJ sets. His signature sound blends powerful basslines and sharp percussion with immersive, atmospheric soundscapes, each track unfolding as a unique sonic journey. Drawing on classic techno while fearlessly incorporating diverse influences, Duniz's EPs have found homes on esteemed labels such as On Edge Society, Jeton, Naked Lunch, Sbert and E-Hrzn, among others. On stage, Duniz masterfully crafts an intense and emotional experience, his rhythmic sets captivating audiences in renowned clubs like Sisyphos, Tresor and Harry Klein. For Duniz, music is a dynamic and ever-evolving exploration, driven by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to discover uncharted sonic territories. Each new release is a testament to this pursuit, aiming to surprise listeners and consistently deliver a unifying sound. Beyond his solo work, Duniz fosters international collaborations through his labels, Equal and Klangtrauma, continuously seeking fresh perspectives and inspiring new ideas within the global electronic music community.
Qaypz
DJ and producer hailing from Arlon, Belgium. As a child of the 90s dance music era, his journey into electronic music began in 2000, ignited by his first I Love Techno Festival experience in Belgium and the Underground rave scene that was thriving in his hometown Liège, where Jungle and D'n'B from UK were dominating. This era made Qaypz start mixing on turntables and embracing vinyl culture in 2003. Today, he's versatile, seamlessly transitioning between turntables, CDJs and DAW-based setups, incorporating hardware and controllers for a hybrid mix performance style. In his early years, he organized local rave parties and later moved to Eupen, the capital of East Belgium, where he founded the collective Krank'm'Haus. Qaypz's passion for Underground sounds is evident in his productions. He crafts dark, industrial tracks characterized by powerful kicks, somber melodies and a driving rhythm. His performances have graced notable locations such as The Ground Club in Luxembourg, The Liquid Club in Malta and The Kulturzentrum Alterschlachthof in Eupen, as well as Underground events like La Nature, Eupen Musik Marathon Festivals in East Belgium and the Rummelstilzchen’s illegal rave party in Berlin-Rummelsburg just before the building demolition the day after.
Dryspirit
Rooted in a lifelong connection to music, Dryspirit draws influence from decades of dark and expressive sound, ranging from 1960s psychedelia to 80s and 90s icons such as The Doors, Depeche Mode, Pantera and many more. His descent into electronic music began around 2008–2009 after discovering Ricardo Villalobos, an encounter that sparked a deep fascination with minimalism, micro-detail and hypnotic groove. Formed by Bucharest’s shadowy Underground scene where he began attending events in 2015, his sound gravitates toward dense atmospheres, tension and subtle movement. He started producing in 2020, releasing his debut track -FOE- on NotYourType Records after months of focused isolation. Since then, he has released music on labels dedicated to dark minimal aesthetics and continues to develop projects such as DRIFTS and ParterStudio, while collaborating with Fratii.ro, Yarn Records, Utro, among others. As a DJ, his venues remain selective, with sets at NYT Gatherings, Twisted Olives Showcase and RatCamp7, reflecting a sound firmly anchored in the Underground.
